Pania joined the Petone Sportsville Board in April. Pania has been a Petone resident for the last 18 years. She is a self-employed consultant, and has previously worked in senior management roles in the public service and for the Auditor-General.
Pania is passionate about sport, and is a strong advocate of the personal and public health benefits of sport and recreational activities. She is involved with Petone-Riverside Cricket Club and Petone Rugby Football Club through her children. Pania still plays representative touch football for Wellington, and coaches and manages a number of Petone club and Wellington sports teams.
