The inaugural PetoneKid Multisport Event was run on Saturday 14 February. We had a good number of brave and weather abiding local youth ranging from 8 years – 12 years participated in the event, as well as competitors in the PetoneMan event.
The day was great fun for the all the kids involved and feedback provided was especially encouraging for Petone Sportsville. PSV member clubs showed great support and the day could not have been run better without the large number of volunteers.
Clubs were willing to put their time into the event and collaborate with each other to bring a fun filled, productive day for the kids. It was great to see support for the vision of Petone Sportsville to have all clubs working closely together for our community.
Petone Sportsville looks forward to holding an even greater event again next year.
