Petone Sportsville is seeking Council funding support to re-develop the sport and recreation facilities on Petone Rec and North Park to ensure they are fit for multiple future uses and to attract more users.
The design concepts retain the existing green space at Petone Rec and North Park for full community use. The draft design plans focus the proposed shared facilities on North Park rather than Petone Rec.
The draft design concepts, developed jointly by Hutt City Council and PSV in consultation with PSV member clubs, give an idea of what is possible but still need further work to accommodate the specific needs of our member clubs and community now and into the future.
The draft design concept images give a broad picture of how these Petone sports grounds could look in the future.
