Petone Sportsville was formed in June 2011 by five member clubs confirming their intention to the objectives of Petone Sportsville by signing the constitution. Petone Sportsville’s appointed and elected board members have developed a strategy plan focused around delivering our mission of: Partnering with members to provide sport and recreation opportunities to our community.

Hutt Valley GymSports

Hutt Valley GymSports is a club for gymnasts from the Wellington region. Our programmes suit gymnasts of all ages and abilities – from pre-schoolers and recreational gymnasts to national and international level. Read more

Petone Riverside Cricket Club

The Petone Riverside Cricket Club was established in 1995 as an amalgamation of the Petone and Riverside Cricket Clubs. The club currently has seven sides competing in the Inter City and Hutt Valley Competitions. Read more

Petone Tennis Club

The Petone Tennis Club was one of the first to be established in the Wellington district and is still going strong. Today it has three artifical turf courts and the cosy club house with its friendly atmosphere has shower and kitchen facilities. Read more

Hutt Valley Harriers and Athletic Club

Hutt Valley Harriers was established in 1923 by 2 Hutt Valley residents, Neil Craig & Tom Hurly – from the Wellington, Olympic Harrrier Club, and the latter club strongly supported HVH. In 1923, 13 members won the hotly contested Vosseller Shield around Mt Vic and in 1924 won the Wellington Cross Country Champs – a good start for the club. Read more
